20.04FWelcome cherry-blossoms, unwelcome coronas It has been like watching a movie or drama. In San-Marco Plaza in Venice, Times-Square in New York, street-cafes in Paris; these scenes, with nobody there, are so scary. The news of covid-19 is really shocking and has shown us an awful world. Basically, a city without people is full of contradictions. Indeed, the place where people gather is the city, and we have been making facilities, aside from houses, to keep us together with common rules. Some towns, mining areas for example, were born out of a certain industry, but as a result, over time, people leave, the city dies, and it is left as ruins. While this virus confusion was going on, the day of 3.11 came around again, and I thought: the cause of this was not from something beyond our control, but rather from the immatureness of our commonsense and manners as a global people. We are really connected on this earth. 20.04.01 |
